Lead Pastor

Kyle grew up in Polk County and currently lives in Lake Wales, Florida. He is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida where he earned a B.A. in Missions in 2018. During his time at BCF, he was a Youth Pastor at a church in Graceville, Florida, and completed an internship in the chaplaincy department of Graceville Correctional Facility. He then served as Student Pastor at The Church on the Hill in Dundee, FL, before answering God's call on his life to plant Hillside Church.

Kyle was called into ministry in July of 2013, and preached his first sermon when he was 18 years old in Auburndale, Florida. He has a burning desire for the gospel of Jesus Christ which collides with his burden for the lost. Some of his biggest influences in modern history are Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, R.C. Sproul, John Piper, and H.B. Charles. He is always looking for opportunities to share the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Kyle has been married to his wife, Emily, since June of 2017 and she is a major help in ministry. The two of them welcomed their first child into the world in July of 2021. Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and watching and playing sports. He is a loyal Florida Gators football fan and becomes very "passionate" during their games. He loves to spend time in the outdoors fishing and hunting, and enjoys relaxing at home with a good book.
